Commissions

This page features only a select few of the various commissions I have completed.

I was commissioned to design the Save the Dates and Wedding Invitations for a couple. The wedding was to happen at a theater, so I created “tickets” as the Save the Dates to go along with that theme. Among their many talents as individuals, the groom is a magician and the bride is a seamstress, and they both work at a haunted house in the fall and are into all things spooky, so I utilized all of those unique traits into the creation of the “playing card” design.

*Note: the actual address of the ceremony and reception hall, along with the RSVP website link, have been removed from the design you see below for the sake of privacy.

This logo is for a new company called Mother Goose Lactation. The company CEO just recently received her Lactation Counselor certification, and was looking to kickstart her own business to help other mothers going through some of the same struggles she had experienced herself. She detailed she envisioned a goose somehow holding a baby. After several creative iterations and back and forth with the client, this is the logo design that was finalized.

For the holiday season of 2021, Scott, the CEO of The American Immersion Theater, commissioned me to create the company holiday card that would be sent out to every actor in the company nationwide (there are 1000s). The three images below are, in order, the front, inside, and back of the card. The text from the inside of the card was removed just to present here.

In November of 2021, I was commissioned to create a digital portrait of a woman and her husband, as a Christmas gift to her family. I drew this portrait based on a photograph she sent me for reference. This was entirely drawn by myself in the Procreate app on an iPad. Click on the image to enlarge.

In the fall of 2020, a local business owner of a Cross stitch company, Shots and Stitches, commissioned me to create a logo for the business. I have included here the thumbnail sheet, and the final logo that is featured on the company’s social media platforms.

Final Design

I created this poster as an ad for a charity fundraiser, called the “Princesses for Koalas”event, to support WIRES, an Australian Wildlife Rescue Organization, to raise money for the bushfires devastating the nation. The event was in February of 2020, and featured various actors dressed as different princesses and superheroes to play games and hang out with children there. The text of specific details about the event has been reckoned to showcase the art instead. I also donated my time at the event dressed as Snow White with The Princess Party Co.

“Mr. Grumpus” is a grumpy puppet character in promo videos by the theater company I currently work for, The American Immersion Theater (AIT). The CEO, Scott Cramton, commissioned me to draw the puppet so it could be included in the 2019 Holiday Card that is sent out to all actors/employees in the nation. The drawing was also featured on a sticker included in the cards, and on the AIT website (exclusive to actors/directors). Created within Procreate, on an iPad Pro with an Apple Pencil. My immediate family asked me to create a digital drawing of our dog Mia, otherwise known as “Wiggle Butt”. This drawing was based on a photo of Mia I had taken myself the previous summer. This was created within Procreate, on an iPad Pro with an Apple Pencil. Click on image to enlarge.
